LingoLingo is made by me, Yunus. I'm a software engineer and language learner. I grew up speaking German and Turkish, and later studied Chinese at University of Hamburg. I'm using my langauge learning experience to build this tool that I wish existed when I started learning Chinese. I handle everything from the development of the app and browser extension to answering emails.

Challenge mode is a feature that allows you to create a personalized learning journey based on your interests and level. When you create a challenge, LingoLingo finds suitable videos for you and arranges them into a 7-day learning plan. This is our way to help you stay motivated with a structured study plan and daily goals. You can also share your challenge with friends and inspire others to learn.

LingoLingo supports 14 languages including Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, and Turkish. The app interface is available in 31+ languages.

Getting started is easy! Download LingoLingo from the App Store, Google Play, or Chrome Web Store. Once installed, choose your target language, then either browse our curated video collection, use Challenge mode to get personalized recommendations, or paste any YouTube video link to start learning immediately.

Yes! You can paste any YouTube video link into LingoLingo and it will automatically generate interactive exercises, translations, and learning materials for that video. This allows you to learn with content you're already interested in watching.
